He was given the option of a treatment to help prolong his life some but the side effects could be crippling. Dr. Grace Buckingham (Cassandra Creech) has seemed to take a very deep interest in Liam’s case and appears to be pushing hard for the treatment plan. She’s pushing so hard that she’s raising some red flags. Is Grace really the puppet master behind Liam’s worsening condition and grim fate? Is he really not as sick as he and everyone else believe?

Bold & Beautiful spoilers indicate that Liam’s condition may not be as bad as he’s being led to believe. There are some red flags raised when it comes to Dr. Grace Buckingham. She seems really invested in getting Liam into a treatment plan.

Plus, Grace’s phone going off all the time and her outburst to Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) about there not being time to waste has fans questioning her motives. Something seems to be making the good doctor go against her oath to help others and save lives.

During a conversation with Finn last week, Grace mentioned her ex-husband’s gambling addiction. She said she’s trying to move past it all, but what if she’s really caught smack dab in the middle of it?

Is Grace being blackmailed and looking for whatever paycheck she can find? Grace could be in serious debt thanks to her gambling ex. Desperate times call for desperate measures, especially in soaps. If Grace needs money badly enough, she might be willing to deceive those around her and sabotage her patient’s health.

What Is Going On?

Bold & Beautiful fans have been talking about the possibility that Liam is not as sick as he seems. It could be that Grace saw an opportunity and grabbed it. Liam could very well have a tumor, but it might not be as deadly as he’s being told.

According to Grace, this is the only way. She might be working illegally with a pharmaceutical company that is paying her big bucks to ensure Liam uses their medications for treatment. Is she poisoning Liam and making him think his situation is terminal when it really isn’t?

Spoilers pointed out that every time Liam goes to pop a pill, it zooms in on Grace Buckingham’s name. Coincidence? Probably not.

The truth will eventually come out, and it could be if Liam happens to be in the wrong place, at the wrong time, and takes a bullet for Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). Liam getting shot could be what brings out the big secret that Grace is working with a pharmaceutical company to make Liam go nuts and promote their product as a big turning point for him.

Of course, Grace would be doing this for a huge payout.

It has not been officially revealed what will happen to Liam yet, but a leaked script does show him still being on the show in early September. It would make sense that Liam is not really dying as quickly as he’s been told. Who knows, Grace could have even doctored the scans when in reality he’s clean.
