7 Little Johnstons fans expressed their disbelief when Allie Smith made a shocking announcement on her latest Instagram Live. Fans were asking her if she and Alex Johnston are still together. According to the OG poster, Allie replied back saying they were definitely getting married.

Many fans wondered how she could be so sure since the two are in a long-distance relationship. Allie lives in Ohio while Alex and the rest of the Johnston family live in Georgia. The couple seems to rarely get to see one another, which could create problems for them should they choose to get married anytime soon.

Fans on social media argued that it’s hard for these two to really know each other by only communicating through phone calls and messages. Allie graduated from high school this past May, while Alex graduated in 2024 with his sister Emma. Many wonder if they will choose to go to college somewhere closer to each other.

According to reports, Alex and Allie started dating in 2022. He has shown lots of emotion in the past when she would visit, and then it would be time for her to leave. So far, they have managed to make their long-distance love work.

There Is One Johnston Getting Married This Year

While Alex and Allie are still young and have lots of time to discuss marriage, there is one family member who is for sure tying the knot in 2025. 7 Little Johnstons star Liz is engaged to Brice Bolden. The two already share a daughter, Leighton.

They announced their engagement earlier this summer. Information was leaked that the happy couple plans to tie the knot in Georgia in November.

Fans of the couple are excited for them and ready to see them finally make things official. Hopefully, their wedding will be featured on TLC for everyone to enjoy.

Liz and Brice love being Leighton’s parents and have even talked about baby number two sometime down the road.
