Would Natalie Portman return to Star Wars

Would Natalie Portman ever return to her role in Star Wars?  The Academy Award winner said in a recent interview with GQ, she has never stated that she is not interested in any offer to return to the legendary series. However, she shared that nobody has ever approached her about it.

“I am unable to provide any information on this matter. Although no one has ever asked me to return, I am willing to consider the possibility.”

However, due to the fact that she passed away while giving birth to Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa, the events and development of the intellectual property controlled by Disney are unable to contribute significantly to the continuity of her character within the epic.

It seems that Star Wars has found success on television, but in a very short amount of time, it will have to return to the medium in which it has always shined with its own unique light. In fact, producer Kathleen Kennedy said unequivocally in April of last year that George Lucas’s brainchild would be brought back to cinemas in the form of three separate feature films by Lucasfilm.

New movies coming

James Mangold, director of Logan and Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, will helm the first one of these films, recounting how the first Jedi came into being. In the end, Dave Finolli will summarize all of the seasons of the home on a single cassette to bring the narrative to a finish. Finally, 15 years after the events of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy will direct a screenplay written by Steven Knight (Peaky Blinders, Locke) that will focus on the character of Rey. Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy will direct Knight’s script.

After completing her trip through the series, Natalie Portman was engaged in a variety of other projects. These projects featured romantic comedies, to be sure, but they also included works by renowned filmmakers like Darren Aronofsky. It was for her work in Black Swan, that she was awarded the golden statuette for the first time in her career, and it remains the only one to this day. Recently, she received another nomination for the major part she played in Pablo Larran’s Jackie, and she also made her comeback to the Marvel series with her character Jane Foster, who is now playing the role of a heroine, in the film Thor: Love and Thunder.

May December, her most recent work, recently had its world debut at the Cannes Film Festival, where critics received it very well. This might provide her with more than one source of happiness during the forthcoming awards season.
