1000-Lb Sisters star Tammy Slaton has achieved even more goals in her weight loss journey now. After losing nearly 600 pounds once she had the surgery. Initially, she was denied surgery for skin removal due to vaping. Once she was able to prove she was on the right track, the doctor approved the surgery. In last week’s intense episode, Tammy’s surgery was revealed on camera. The photos and details were shocking to fans. 1000-Lb Sisters Tammy Slaton’s Surgery Preparation

In last week’s 1000-Lb Sisters episode, Tammy Slaton went under the knife to finally get her excess skin removed. Prior to the surgery, she expressed that she was very excited yet also very nervous. She knew it would be rewarding. However, Tammy also knows that things can go wrong with any surgery.

Before going under, she shared that her life was about to get easier than it had ever been. Without the extra skin, she would be able to shower better. She didn’t mean to gross anyone out, but said now, after having the surgery, she would be able to bathe without having to dig her way up between her skin rolls to ensure she was getting really clean.

As she prepared for the surgery, she told her family how much they mean to her, even though they get on her nerves. The doctors explained that they will have to do more than one surgery to fix all of her concerns. However, in this initial one, they will focus on the main points, her neck, stomach, and arms.

They shared that Tammy would be in the hospital for two nights in case of complications. Her health history puts her at a higher risk of these conditions occurring. If bleeding were to occur after surgery, it would happen the first night, and sometimes it even requires an emergency trip back to the operating room.

Tammy’s Intense Surgery Photos And Videos

On the day of the surgery, fans were taken into the operating room where they saw doctors cutting into Tammy Slaton. They removed more than seven pounds of fat and skin from her belly area. They noted it was more than 3 feet of fat.

Next up was her jowl. Doctors noted that they asked her for photos from her teenage years so they could figure out where her jawline should be. Sadly, no photos would help them with this, so they noted she would have a nearly new look altogether.

The intense surgery photos and video showed them preparing to get rid of her jowl and revealed an incision with fat poking through her neck. The surgical team was shown suturing her face as they worked to remove her excess skin and ‘saggy jowl’. In the end, Tammy survived, and fans have been anxious to see photos of her now.

Of course, the surgery happened long ago, even though the episode just aired. Photos have since leaked out of Tammy post post-healing, and she looks incredible.
