Today show host Savannah Guthrie and her family continue to pray that their beloved mother, Nancy, is brought home safely. Nancy Guthrie went missing sometime after midnight this past Saturday night. The police were called on Sunday morning after she failed to show up for church. The focus on Thursday appears to be centered around a potential ransom note that was sent to TMZ. The police have not confirmed if the note is authentic or not, but the FBI is investigating all leads. As one deadline mentioned in the alleged ransom note passes, Camron Guthrie speaks out again on behalf of their family.

Camron Guthrie Speaks Out Following Deadline

As time drags on with no signs of Nancy Guthrie, the family is pleading with her abductors to bring her home. On Wednesday evening, Savannah Guthrie and her two siblings, Annie and Camron, released a video on social media. They thanked fans for the prayers and noted they can feel them. The three of them also pleaded with the person who has Nancy to bring her home.

On Thursday, the FBI continued to investigate a ransom note sent to TMZ. Most of the specifics inside the note were not revealed to the public. However, there were a few things within the note that prompted law enforcement to further pursue the possibility that it is legit. The letter mentioned an Apple watch and a floodlight at the home. New information released reveals that Nancy’s Apple Watch stopped recording data from her pacemaker around 2:30 am Sunday.

Within the note, the family was given two deadlines. The first deadline was for Thursday evening at 5:00 pm. The second deadline is Monday, February 9. Details about what would happen if the deadlines passed were not disclosed to the public. Now, the first deadline passed, and there has been no communication from the abductor. Camron Guthrie made another video on behalf of his family to plead with the kidnappers to bring their mother home.

The short video posted to Instagram on Thursday evening said, “This is Camron Guthrie. I’m speaking for the Guthrie family. Whoever is out there holding our mother, we want to hear from you. We haven’t heard anything directly. We need you to reach out and we need a way to communicate with you so we can move forward. But first, we have to know that you have our mom. We want to talk to you, and we are waiting for contact.”

Savannah Guthrie commented on the video, saying, “Bring her home.”

More Details About The Case

Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos revealed to the public that the blood found outside the residence does belong to Nancy Guthrie. He also noted that nobody within his department has released any information regarding how the abductor gained entry into the home. He also said he would not confirm if the cameras around the house were smashed. However, he did confirm that they do not have the Ring Doorbell camera in their possession. It was disconnected and removed the night of the kidnapping. There is no video available from the camera since the family did not have a purchased subscription.

Right now, there are no confirmed suspects in the case. Nanos shared that nobody is being cleared until they have more answers. FBI and Nanos pleaded with the public to report any information they may have, regardless of how small they think it is.

Nancy Guthrie is in need of medication that could prove fatal if many dosages are missed. It’s unclear whether or not she’s been given any of her meds. So far, there have been no confirmed signs of life. Everyone is holding out hope that she is alive and out there waiting to come home.

At Thursday’s press conference, FBI Agent in Charge Heith Janke revealed there is a $50,000 reward for the return of Nancy or information leading to the suspect’s arrest.
