‘Mission Impossible: Deadly Judgement’ Has Lengthy Runtime
Mission Impossible: Deadly Judgment is shaping up to be the special operation that Agent Ethan Hunt has been involved in for the longest amount of time. After the critical and commercial success of Top Gun: Maverick, fans of Tom Cruise’s blockbuster movies are anxiously expecting another one of those Tom Cruise-led action-packed rides. This next movie reportedly has the longest runtime of the franchise. Keep reading to find out more
What can fans expect from Deadly Judgment and its runtime?
Information shared by the IGN site indicates the latest part in the Fallout series will run for a total of 2 hours and 36 minutes (this does not include the time spent on the credits).
Prior to that point, the previous edition held the record for the longest-running duration, with a total of 2 hours and 27 minutes. The runtime of each film in the series has steadily risen throughout the course of the franchise, breaking the two-hour mark for the first time with the second part. This is in contrast to the first film directed by Brian de Palma, which was less than 120 minutes in length.
As was previously established, this will be the first of two segments that will be devoted to organizing Tom Cruise’s exit from the intellectual movie owned by Paramount Pictures. As Hunt prepares to go with the rest of his IMF team on what will be his most perilous mission yet, he will, this time, be surrounded by a large number of adversaries. The secret agent has been tasked with locating a deadly new weapon that can potentially wipe out mankind.
What fans can expect to see
Another compelling aspect of the movie is that viewers will finally get to see the iconic scene in which the protagonist rides a motorbike around the globe before jumping off it into nothingness. Deadly Judgement will include the return of a large number of recognizable actors who will assist Tom Cruise’s character along this journey.
Rebecca Ferguson will reprise her role as Ilsa Faust, Ving Rhames will reprise his role as Luther Stickell, Simon Pegg will reprise his role as Benji Dunn, and Vanessa Kirby will reprise her role as the weapons trader White Widow. Henry Czerny will reprise his role as Kittridge, a former director of the International Monetary Fund when he next appears in the series. In addition, there won’t be a lack of new characters, and some of the best performers in the business, like Pom Klementieff, Shea Whigham, Greg Tarzan Davis, and Esai Morales, will be playing them.
Christopher McQuarrie, who previously collaborated with Tom Cruise on the film Jack Reacher as well as the other two films in this series, will once again serve in the role of director for the next video. Following a number of setbacks, Mission: Impossible – Deadly Judgement will finally be released in cinemas on July 14, while the anticipated release date for the sequel is June 28, 2024.
