Liz Johnston Breaks Silence On Shocking Breakup With Brice

Liz Johnston Breaks Silence On Shocking Split From Brice

7Little Johnstons is returning to TLC tonight and Liz Johnston is opening up about her relationship with Brice Bolden. In a clip shared by Parade, Liz says, “So Brice and I are no longer together.” As she said the words she became emotional and told producers she needed a minute. When she returned she continued talking and said, “So Brice and I are no longer living together. We have separated.”

What led to their breakup? Liz went on to share that when they were living together it felt like they were more like roommates rather than like a couple. She said, “And I could not live like that because I am not a person who wants to be in a relationship where it doesn’t feel like there’s any love or any just, I don’t know, spark.”

She also said after watching her parents make their marriage work for 25 years she just can’t settle for a mediocre relationship. Liz shared it’s not who she is or what she wants.

She wasn’t getting from Brice everything she needed from the relationship. However, she did say he is truly a great guy.

Liz continued by saying, “When the relationship starts to mentally affect somebody—when they don’t feel like they’re loved, and they tried to do everything to keep the relationship going and to keep the spark alive, and then now they’re exhausted from it and then they just get pretty much depressed—I can’t live like that.”

They Are Having A Baby

In a preview, Liz announces that she and Brice are having a baby. The two shared photos together for their announcement. So far it seems he has been a big part of Leighton’s life. He even appeared in Christmas photos with the family.

Right now, fans are not sure if Liz and Brice have reconciled since having their baby in November. Everyone will see it play out on screen when Season 14 airs.
