Janelle & Kody Brown Unite For Garrison Memorial Service, First Pics

Sister Wives stars Janelle and Kody Brown united with the rest of their family to honor Garrison. The Nevada National Guard held a memorial service to honor their fallen comrade. Sadly, Garrison took his own life on March 4. Everyone feels the loss and the void he left behind. See the photos below of this touching service respectfully honoring Garrison.

The Nevada National Guard gathered to say goodbye and honor Garrison Brown. They shared a touching obituary and photos on their social media which showed the Brown family uniting together. This is the first time since Garrison’s death that Robyn and Kody have been seen publicly with the family.

The obituary began by saying, “Soldiers from the 1st Squadron, 221st Cavalry, along with friends and family, gathered yesterday at the Clark County Armory to honor the memory of Staff Sgt. Robert Garrison Brown, who passed away on March 4th.”

It went on to say, “Brown, a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, was born to Janelle and Kody Brown, and was the sixth child of a large family. He is survived by his family and three cats, Catthew, Patches, and Ms. Buttons. Preceding him were Sheryl Lee Brown, William Winn Brown, and Curtis Taylor Brown.”

The obituary did a wonderful job describing the amazing man that Garrison was. They shared that he was adventurous, loved traveling to different countries and had many passions. Some of those passions include comedy, night photography and amateur craftsmanship.

The obituary continued saying, “As a Staff Sergeant in the Army National Guard and a proud CAV Scout, Brown exemplified dedication to his country. He also had a caring nature, pursuing a career in nursing to help others.”

The post ended by reminding everyone to cherish loved ones and “prioritize compassion.”

Garrison’s Family Continues To Mourn

Garrison Brown was laid to rest the Saturday following his death. The family chose to keep details about his service private. Sadly, he was found by his brother Gabriel with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Janelle has since said he struggled with mental health issues. Family members continue to share their grief with social media posts honoring Garrison.
