‘Golden Bachelor’ Gerry Turner Reveals He’s Dating Again

Golden Bachelor Gerry Turner revealed to fans that he is putting himself back out there. He is dating again after divorcing Theresa Nist. Turner appeared on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast where he spilled the tea about his dating life. So far, he seems rather smitten with his new lady friend. Golden Bachelor Gerry Turner is dipping his toes back into the dating pool. He appeared on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast where he revealed he is with someone new following his divorce. Turner was very tight-lipped about his new girlfriend’s identity. However, he said it seems to be going really well.

He didn’t share too much about her because he doesn’t want to jinx it but overall things are great so far. His new lady also has daughters so that already gives them something in common. Their families have spent time together briefly and Gerry believes it was a great encounter.

Gerry admits he is taking things slow this time around. He is also trying to be respectful about his time with Theresa Nist. He shared he’s trying to determine what is a reasonable amount of time between his divorce and moving on. The Golden Bachelor considers himself to be old-fashioned.

Without revealing her name, Gerry did share that his new lady friend is very adventurous. She loves to travel and he is always down to do whatever she wants to do. While he doesn’t like to admit it, he says he had an instant connection with the new woman in his life.

Gerry said, “I hate to say it because I know I’m going to get baseballs thrown at me. It was almost the first time I saw her. It was the look that she gave me. It was like, all of a sudden, I was consumed by this look and I had this actual physical feeling and I pushed it off. I go, ‘That was silly, that’s ridiculous.’ And with every encounter that feeling has instantly come back with her look and it’s like, ‘Damn, this is pretty awesome.’”

Does Ex-Wife Theresa Nist Know He’s Dating?

As it turns out, Golden Bachelor Gerry Turner did inform his ex-wife Theresa Nist that he is back in the dating pool. He revealed asking Joan Vassos and Leslie Fhima for advice on when he should tell Theresa. They advised him to do it soon. That conversation took place after Grant Ellis’ After the Final Rose special.

The following day he called Theresa and gently let her know he was dating someone new. He says it was a great conversation.

The news that Gerry is dating again comes after his shocking news that he has been diagnosed with an incurable but slow-growing form of bone cancer.
