General Hospital fan favorite Kelly Monaco who plays Sam McCall on the daytime soap broke her silence again. She hasn’t said much since her character officially died on GH. Now, she is seemingly threatening consequences after being fired. It’s been somewhat of a mystery about why she was let go from the daytime drama. What is she saying now? GH Kelly Monaco Speaks Again On Firing

General Hospital actress Kelly Monaco played Sam McCall for more than 20 years. Fans loved her and were shocked when she was fired and written out of the soap. There have been no real reasons given for why ABC let her go. However, she has made some statements that seem to allege it was all part of retaliation for the show.

She previously shared a post about Billy Miller on Instagram honoring him on the one year anniversary of his suicide. However, she deleted it shortly after. In the post, she noted that she would tell their story and their truth someday soon.

Fans also started rumors that she was fired because she wouldn’t take the pay cut that everyone else did. However, that was debunked when Kelly confirmed to a fan that she did in fact take the cut.

Now, after Sam died and she was officially done with the show, Kelly spoke again on a fan’s post. She has gotten tons of support and praise from fans. However, one fan said on X, “KM- fired for her actions. There was no vendetta. She did this herself.” They continued to say,”She phoned in her performances for YEARS. She thought she had more power than she did.”

Kelly replied back to them and said,

I do have more power than a “job” it’s my voice, my experience, my truth. You can beat someone down, until they finally find the power within themselves to recover with grace and dignity. Those whom choose to bully behind their power, will suffer their own consequences.

Fans are proud of Kelly Monaco for speaking up and defending herself. However, there are some fans who are disappointed that she continues to be vague with her comments.

Fans are hoping that she will make a video or give a full statement as to what exactly happened that led to her being fired.
