‘General Hospital’ Writers Tease Nobody Is Safe In 2025

General Hospital head writers are getting viewers hyped up for 2025. They are teasing fans of what is coming in Port Charles for everyone’s favorite characters. The big tease indicates that nobody is safe and fans have already been seeing that play out in late 2024 when two huge fan favorites were murdered. What are writers hinting at for the upcoming year? 2025 is going to bring in more drama for residents of Port Charles. General Hospital fans are in for more surprises as the new year kicks off. Co-head writers Elizabeth Korte and Chris Van Etten spilled the tea on what to expect to TV Insider. They had a lot to say and tease. In fact, they hinted that nobody is safe.

They both said, “Port Charles stands on a powder keg. One spark from any number of stories may explode marriages and fortunes, create new love and new life … and take lives, too. No status quo is certain, and no one is safe.”

Fans have already seen Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) die and nobody is happy about it. These two were murdered by Cyrus although currently his motive is unclear. However, writers tease that in early 2025 all will be revealed as to why Cyrus is out for blood. Plus, his hit list will continue to grow as Elizabeth and Lucky get closer to discovering the truth. Cyrus was the one who injected an overdose of digitalis into the IVs.

Cyrus Has A Growing Hit List

Fans of General Hospital will soon learn why Cyrus decided to end Sam McCall’s life. Lucky Spencer and Elizabeth Webber are on the prowl and determined to learn who would want to kill Sam and why.

These two will grow closer as they work together to piece together clues to find the murderer. However, as they get closer to Cyrus, he will start making deadly plans for them. Will they be able to rekindle their love while also uncovering Cyrus’ evil plan? Or will one of them be Cyrus’ next victim?

Other Mysteries Will Be Solved

There have also been other mysteries brewing in Port Charles. Brook Lynn Quatermaine (Amanda Setton) has been keeping a secret. She’s trying desperately to get pregnant but as the process deepens, it may be revealed that this will not be her first pregnancy. Even worse, is it Dante’s baby?

Not only is it not her first pregnancy but her biological child may be closer than she realizes. Her mother may be the one who has been holding that secret close to her.

Things are about to get complicated and dramatic in Port Charles in 2025 and as they writers said nobody’s life is safe. Lives will be changed forever in the coming months and nothing will be the same.
