General Hospital fans are dying to know who is really behind the face of Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison). There was a time when Drew was not evil. In fact, he was a war hero, a respected Navy SEAL. So what happened that made him do a complete flip and cross to the dark side? There are lots of options as to what could have happened to create someone that people are referring to as “The Monster.”

General Hospital Heading Toward Drew Cain Big Reveal?

One thing General Hospital fans can agree on is that Drew Cain is not the same person he once was. The Drew everyone used to know would never go to the depths of hell to get what he wants, which is hurting everyone around him. On Monday’s episode, he went to an all-new low and hurt poor Wiley by saying that his daddy, Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson), didn’t want him and Amelia anymore.

Drew purposely said this to sabotage any possible compromise between Willow and Drew. It worked. Michael flew into Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen), who, of course, defended Drew. She would believe the sky was falling if Drew said so. Plus, he once again lied and denied saying this at all. It takes a very evil man to stoop so low and hurt a child they claim to love.

The old Drew would never have done this. In fact, the old Drew probably wouldn’t have slept with his nephew’s wife or her mother to begin with. So what changed that made him into the monster he is today? There are a couple of different possibilities. As all of Drew’s lies begin to catch up with him, he’s heading for a big reveal and take down.

Who Is THIS Drew Cain?

One, we already know that there have been many characters brainwashed and implanted with other characters’ memories. He even once had Jason’s memories. Of course, rumors are flying that perhaps Shiloh is not dead and has returned to not only get Willow but also get the shares in ELQ he once wanted. Plastic surgery or a detailed mask could do the trick to make him look identical to Drew, yet still be Shiloh’s twisted self.

Looking back into the past, Shiloh has tried once before to get his hands on ELQ shares. When Drew’s son Oscar died, he went to the reading of the will, thinking that he had been left the shares. Drew pushed him down, accusing him of disrespecting Oscar’s memory.

While it might seem far-fetched, it’s not impossible. However, there is another possibility. With all the brainwashing and memory implantations that occurred through the years, it’s entirely possible that Drew Cain was programmed, so to speak, with Shiloh’s memories and personality. He is doing exactly what Shiloh would have done.

The big question now is, will he be discovered? If he’s Shiloh, where is the real Drew Cain? Or, if he has been implanted with Shiloh’s personality, will something reverse it and make him into the man he once was?

There still remain a lot of unanswered questions. As Drew’s lies continue to unravel, there’s no doubt all will be revealed. What do you think will happen?
