‘General Hospital’ TJ & Molly’s Baby Reappears In Port Charles

General Hospital’s Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) has had a tough time over the past several years when it comes to health and becoming a mother. She found out she has endometriosis, which can affect fertility in women. At the time, she was with TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow), and they had been together since they were teenagers. Rather than get traditionally married, the two decided on a domestic partnership. With her fertility issues, TJ and Molly decided to have a surrogate carry a child for them. The woman they chose, Andrea Gates ( Lily Anne Harrison), claims to have had cramps and bleeding leading to a miscarriage. However, there was never any proof. Was this set up years ago to be a future storyline? 

General Hospital Fans Speculate Molly & TJ’s Baby Is Alive

General Hospital fans have been speculating and talking about Molly and TJ’s baby that supposedly never was. When Andrea revealed the miscarriage to TJ, she said she went to Mercy Hospital instead of GH. She claims to have suffered a miscarriage after having some cramps and bleeding. Andrea also didn’t want to attempt another surrogacy. The whole situation seemed very suspicious. There was no closure, and Andrea could have very easily left, still being pregnant and wanting to raise the baby as her own. 

Andrea didn’t provide any proof, and TJ and Molly didn’t ask for any. Of course, this opened the door to Kristina carrying their child, and everyone knows what happened there. She fell out of the Metro Court window and lost the baby girl. After their loss, TJ and Molly’s relationship never did recover. They ended things, and he left Port Charles. 

Now, as speculation rises over Molly’s current medical condition, rumors of her first child being alive are popping up online. Just when Molly is finding some happiness with Cody Bell, her entire world could come crashing down.

Will Andrea Resurface With Baby?

If General Hospital writers chose to go this route and bring back Andrea, they could go about it in a few different ways. Everyone knows that the baby is not Molly’s biological child. So, should Andrea return to find TJ, Molly may be forced to find him to help save their child. 

Or, if a medical crisis does not make Andrea return to Port Charles with the truth, she could have ended things with her husband and found herself too broke to raise the baby anymore. She might return wanting money from Molly in exchange for the baby, who would now be a few years old.

There are lots of scenarios that could play out, but a majority of fans believe this baby did not die as Andrea told them. Below are some fan comments:

• “They made a point to bring up the surrogacy and not mention TJ. I hate they cast him into the wind I’ve been watching the character since he and Molly were high school sweethearts. I’d love for him to get his kid back in spite of Kristina.”
• “As soon as that went down, I immediately thought, “that baby is fine and this is their way of putting it in storage until they need a juicy storyline.”
• “Anything is possible and TJ could pop back up. Here’s another theory deforestation a soap. TJ discovered the truth he left town to be with her and his baby lol”

Of course, there are also fans who think that storyline is over since TJ left the show. However, it’s entirely possible he could make a comeback and ruin Cody’s relationship with Molly. What do you think will happen? Is the baby alive somewhere?
