General Hospital fans are in for more drama during the week of March 23. Jason Morgan didn’t take the shot he had to end Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) once and for all. It’s looking more and more like he should have taken him out when he had the chance. Things are about to take a tragic and dramatic turn in Port Charles. Someone will die, and Jason’s final appearance until summer is upon viewers. What’s coming for fans this week?

General Hospital Says Goodbye To Marco Rios

Just when it seemed like Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) could redeem himself on General Hospital and become a good guy again, he’s about to be taken out of the equation completely. Marco’s love for Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) is evident as he risks everything to help get Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) her much-needed medicine. However, Cullum is onto Marco and isn’t about to let things slide.

Cullum was already seen entering the law offices with a knife on Friday. Previews reveal a startled Marco turning around from his desk to see Cullum staring him down. He will most likely be stabbed and left to die on the floor. Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) discovers his bloody body when she walks in. Chances are she’s too late to save him, and he’s already gone. Of course, Cullum is going to frame Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) for the murder.

This leaves a big question to be answered as well: Did Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) know that Cullum was going to murder his son, or will he also be led to believe Sonny is responsible? Spoilers reveal that Sonny is about to have a huge legal battle on his hands. Will he be arrested? Plus, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) is going to have an eye-opening moment. Will this moment be that Sonny isn’t quite as bad as she thought? Will she change her tune about Sonny and decide to help him prove Cullum killed Marco?

Then there is Lucas. He will be grieving the death of Marco and possibly turn to Brad for comfort. Will they hook up again?

Jason’s Time Is Up

Britt is waiting on Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) to show up so they can escape Port Charles and get her away from Cullum and Sidwell. However, spoilers reveal that he isn’t there on time. Britt tells a worried Lucas that he will be there. Little does she know that things are blowing up in Jason’s world.

When Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) tries to take Jason to the station for questioning, Jason knocks him out of the way. Now, he’s really in hot water. He’s a fugitive, so to speak. Enter Ross Cullum. He is seen trying to hit Jason with a metal baton. There’s a big chance he succeeds, as Jason is already on the ground and looks seemingly helpless.

Port Charles residents are going to think that Jason fled to avoid prison. Will they think he murdered Marco? Since they think he fled, they won’t be looking for him to be a prisoner somewhere else. It’s looking more and more like Cullum is going to make sure Jason is locked up and away from Britt. It will be months before he is found, nearly dead at the hands of Cullum, Pascal, and Sidwell.

There is also more to look forward to in the coming weeks. There has been speculation for months that Britt does not really have Huntingtons Disease. When she attempts to duplicate the formula of her medication, she might find it is a placebo and not even real meds.

There’s a lot of drama coming to Port Charles over the next few weeks. Questions will be answred and more will arise. What do you think will happen next?
