‘General Hospital’ Sofia Mattsson Returns For Special Storyline

General Hospital fans were crushed when Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) exited Port Charles. She left and took her and Michael Corinthos’ (Rory Gibson) baby, Daisy, with her. Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) delivered her to her father in Paris. When Sofia left the daytime drama, she noted that she would possibly be back one day. Is that day coming sooner than everyone thinks? Many fans think she’s about to show up for a special storyline. Why does everyone think this? Keep reading to get all the clues.

General Hospital Sofia Mattsson Makes Port Charles Comeback?

Will General Hospital fans see Sofia Mattsson back on set soon? This would be the ideal soap time to bring Sasha back to Port Charles with Daisy, especially since Michael has a good thing going with Jacinda at the moment. She may return for an entirely other reason than Michael, but once there, she might have high hopes to rekindle things and become a family with him. This will, of course, put Michael in a tight spot and potentially create a love triangle.

But if Sasha isn’t coming back just for Michael, why would she return? There’s a big chance that Sasha is coming back to honor her father, Robert Scorpio. Fans already know that GH plans to honor Tristan Rogers this summer after he passed away last year. His last appearance on the soap was when Jason delivered Sasha and Daisy safely to him overseas. Now, speculation is that several past characters will return to say goodbye to Robert Scorpio. If Sofia returns this is the perfect reason for her comeback.

Why Do Fans Think She’s Coming Back Soon?

General Hospital fans think that Sofia Mattsson is back to filming the soap based on her recent social media post. When she left the soap last year, she was living a quiet, private life in Sweden. Now, she revealed that she is back in the States. She dropped a big clue when she posted a selfie in a car and said, “Soaking up the LA sunshine 🥰☀️”

If she does return, it seems her arrival will be on the heels of Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) exit.

Do you think that Sofia is heading back to Port Charles to say goodbye to her father and also stir things up for Michael and Jacinda?
