‘General Hospital’ Shocking Twist Breaks Up Carly & Brennan?

General Hospital fans have been warned that the plot will thicken when it comes to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and who is out to get him. Everyone has been pointing fingers at Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Roto). He continues to deny targeting Sonny, even though he has made comments about how things would be great if the great mob boss were no longer around. Plus, he was given inside information from Natalia about Sonny’s surgery. Is he really behind it all, or will there be a shocking twist that will change everything, and as an added bonus, break up Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna)?

General Hospital Twist Ends Carly And Brennan

There are not many people who knew about Sonny’s heart surgery in Los Angeles. He didn’t want his enemies to know he was vulnerable. That obviously didn’t work because a nurse with an evil plan was about to inject Sonny when thankfully Brick (Stephen A. Smith) walked in and shot her when she reached for her own gun.

The bad part is nobody knows who sent her. Brick decides to call the WSB, and coincidentally, Jack Brennan is the closest agent and will be the one taking care of this mess. Obviously, he knew Sonny was here since Carly went to be by his side.

Everyone knows that Jack Brennan is not the law-abiding citizen everyone thinks he is. He has some skeletons and some secrets, including recruiting Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) to be a WSB agent. Then, there was disposing of Cyrus Renault’s body and placing evidence to frame Jason.

What if Sidwell is telling the truth? He may hate Sonny, but is he really targeting him? Perhaps it will come to light that Jack Brennan is the mastermind behind the attacks on Sonny. After all, the device used at the penthouse is something only WSB or a similar organization would have access to.

It Will All Blow Up

If it’s true that Jack Brennan is behind these attacks, it won’t be long before he makes a critical error that will ultimately expose him. He claims to really care for Carly and he probably does. However, this will ruin them.

Carly will never forgive him for targeting Sonny, which led to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) struggling with severe burns in Germany. Plus, he recruited her daughter to be a secret agent. When Brennan is exposed, Carly and Brennan will be over for good.

Who knows, she may even seek comfort from her ex-husband, Sonny Corinthos. Ultimately, Brennan’s downfall could lead to the reunion everyone has been dying to see, Sonny and Carly.

It’s yet to be revealed if this is what will happen, but it seems like a big possibility. Having Sidwell be behind it all seems too easy and predictable. Chances are, the General Hospital writers are planning for a lot more shock than that.

The annual Nurses’ Ball seems like a great place for things to go down.
