‘General Hospital’ Shocking Photo Reveals Return Of Villain

General Hospital fans are gearing up to witness some major, shocking moments happen during May sweeps. Let’s not forget the Nurses Ball is quickly approaching and what better place than that to have the rug pulled out from some of the beloved and hated characters. Who knows, perhaps a villain rising from the dead isn’t out of the question either. In fact, a shocking photo emerged that has some thinking this very thing could be happening. Which evil villain might be returning from the grave?

General Hospital Sees A Villain Return From The Grave?

In the soap world, it’s not uncommon for fans to think a character is dead and gone, only to see them return months or even years later, freakishly rising from the grave. General Hospital writers have plenty of villains to choose from should they want to have another resurrection.

One villain that is supposed to be dead is Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers). It wouldn’t be the first time this villainous monster has risen from the dead. Her name has been surfacing often recently in Port Charles, especially between Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota). In fact, he showed her the dagger Helena used to murder Alexis’ mother. Then, as if that wasn’t bad enough, he mailed it to her.

There has to be a reason that the knife keeps resurfacing. Is Helena coming back to take possession of it and kill another victim? Who knows, maybe she wants to see Alexis face the same fate as her mother.

While Helena emerging from the grave would be iconic, it’s most likely not happening. Another well-known villain in Port Charles is Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom). He wreaked havoc on the show for years. Of course, he is supposedly dead, and his corpse was even seen in a body bag by many. However, soap writers have a way of telling a story that could easily resurrect this villain and return him to Port Charles.

In fact, Jon Lindstrom even said that while it appears Ryan is actually dead, one never can tell when it comes to soaps. He even said should the writers decide the time is right to bring him back, he would be all in.

Who Else Could It Be?

General Hospital writers have many to choose from if they want to bring back a thought to be deceased villain. Nelle Benson is another great choice. She is also believed to be dead. However, with all the drama happening between Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen), bringing Nelle back would be the icing on the cake.

Nelle is Willow’s twin sister, but that wouldn’t stop her from wanting Willow’s children. There are rumors that Drew could really be Shiloh. If he really is the cult leader who is supposed to be dead. It could be that Nelle is also alive and in hiding, waiting to swoop in and reunite with Shiloh, aka Drew and take Willow’s kids. She was foolish enough to sign legal documents making Drew their legal guardian.

Then there is Cassandra Pierce (Jessica Tuck). This villain is one from Valentin’s past who planned to unleash a powerful opioid on the streets of Port Charles. However, Nina ended up sticking a needle in Cassandra in self-defense and she fell into a coma. She was kidnapped from WSB custody. Things didn’t go as planned and she was ultimately left behind. Then, she was later kidnapped by a mysterious man, who happened to be wearing a Cassadine ring.

If there is a villain returning, the last one may be the best option at the moment. Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) posted a photo on social media with Jessica Tuck on the set of General Hospital.

It’s yet to be seen if any of these villains are making a comeback to Port Charles. However, it would add some excitement and huge twists to the drama that lies ahead.
