‘General Hospital’ Ryan Paevey Issues Stern Warning To Fans

General Hospital and Hallmark star Ryan Paevey has a stern message for his fans. This isn’t the first time he’s called attention to the matter, but now he’s pointing it out again and is making sure fans hear him loud and clear.  He’s recently made a comeback to the soap world, reprising his role as Nathan West on GH. He is also very well known for his appearance in Hallmark movies. Paevey has made a name for himself, and along with that comes some disadvantages of fame. However, he’s doing his part to keep his name in good standing while also trying to protect his fans. What did Ryan share with his followers? 

General Hospital Star Ryan Paevey Issues Statement

General Hospital star Ryan Paevey went to Instagram to issue a statement to his fans. Paevey started out by saying that he has addressed these issues before, but he’s going to address them again and pin it on his page so everyone can refer back to it. He’s going to pin it so he doesn’t have to address the issue every three weeks for the rest of his life. Paevey went on to say that he is going to address imposter and scammer accounts. 

Ryan hopes everyone will listen to what he has to say. He said he’s going to cover some of the bullet points that he receives daily in messages. He even apologized in advance if it sounds a little bit curt. Paevey said he only has one Instagram account, which is the one everyone saw his message on. He continued on that he is not flying anyone to see him, and he is not flying anywhere to meet anyone. 

He then shared that there is no super secret VIP Ryan Paevey fan club that costs thousands of dollars to join. Paevey said, “That’s not a thing, I’m just not that cool.” He then moved on and said he didn’t buy a fan a house or a car. Plus, he’s not using his family’s medical situations to try to get money from fans. He’s not going to solicit money from anyone. His finances are fine and he can take care of himself and his family. 

Ryan also said he treats his time on General Hospital like a job. He goes to work, clocks out, and goes home. Paevey does not communicate privately. He said, “It’s just not a thing that I do.”

Ryan Brings Up AI And The Dangers That Come From It

Hallmark Actor Ryan Paevey, who has starred in many beloved films on the network, also spoke to fans about AI or Artificial Intelligence. He knows that it’s very popular and can be very convincing. Paevey pointed out that people can now clone video and audio. He warned to be extra cautious about this and noted that nobody in the TV or film world is going to randomly send personalized video messages to anyone in their DMs. 

Ryan also reminded fans that he does sell jewelry, but only on the website that he has sold it on for years. He does not accept gift cards for payment. He’s not going to ask for Sephora gift cards. Ryan joked, “Do I look like a Sephora guy?”

Paevey concluded by telling fans to please not give strangers on the internet money.
