‘General Hospital’ May Sweeps: Arrests & Baby Shower Bombshells

General Hospital fans know that when a party is set to happen, big things can and will go wrong. May Sweeps is in full swing and writers have been doing a fantastic job of providing dramatic, shocking moments for viewers. Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali)  will be busy getting everything in place for Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) baby shower. Spoilers say there will be some big bombshells to come surrounding the joyous event.

General Hospital Baby Shower Brings Chaos

As Portia and Trina plan the baby shower, Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) is facing some potential legal trouble since Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) can’t let things go. He’s convinced that Isaiah had something to do with Jordan Ashford’s (Tanisha Harper) car crash. Curtis vowed to find evidence to get a search warrant. Isaiah knows he had nothing to do with the crash, but it’s suspicious since he scraped his car in the parking garage at the hospital.

With Curtis on the prowl to bring down Isaiah, things could get ugly. If he finds out about Dr. Gannon’s car repairs, it could lead to an arrest. ADA Turner needs a reason to bring him in officially for more interrogation about where he was the night Curtis and Jordan had their accident. Will the arrest come during the baby shower? Could it possibly be the new kid in town, Joe Fitzpatrick (Jonathan Bennett), who makes the arrest?

Of course, if Jordan does show up to the baby shower with Curtis, then this could also lead to more fireworks. Portia could go after them both for accusing Isaiah of this. As if an arrest and screaming match isn’t enough, it seems likely that Portia will go into labor. She’s already confirmed her due date is just a few short weeks away.

Is A Confession Coming?

Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) has been helping Trina more with her potential singing career, so there’s a great chance she will be at the baby shower. She’s already feeling guilty knowing it was her car that swiped the guardrail the night of the car accident. Seeing the chaos that unfolds at the baby shower, will it force her to confess to what happened? Or, will Tracy Quartermaine somehow take the blame to avoid potential issues with adopting Phoebe?

If Brook Lynn does confess, there’s a big possibility the baby could be taken from her and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard). This could bring its own troubles and force Ethan Lovett (Nathan Dean) to admit he knows Delilah Wilson (Lily Cardone). Will this be when everyone finds out his connection to her and whether or not the baby is his? Right now, this is all just speculation about what could happen.

May Sweeps promises to bring much more drama and jaw-dropping moments. What do you think writers have planned for fans?
