General Hospital star Kelly Monaco is ready to spill the tea on what led to her termination from the soap. Since the reveal that Sam McCall would be killed off, fans have been begging writers to change their minds.

Kelly has been on the show as Sam for 21 years. Now, as her time draws to a close on the soap, she speaks out. In a response to someone on an Instagram post she made about Billy Miller, she had some words for viewers.

When someone said she was leaving the show because she didn’t take the pay cut, Kelly fired back. She said, “No primary role” Then she continued saying, “do your homework. When Billy Miller was fired, Sam’s storyline stopped. Stripping Sam of every characteristic she had. Something I worked for decades to build… Slowly dismantling her, into a character that I did not recognize, let alone the audience.”

What she said next is shocking and now everyone is on the edge of their seats to see what Kelly will say next. She concluded in her now-deleted post by saying, “Call it what you will…retaliation at it finest. I will give a proper statement. The truth will set you free.”

She Taped Her Final Episode Last Week

Kelly Monaco has officially filmed her final episode as Sam McCall. Her mom confirmed the news on social media.

Her mom thanked fans and said just four days shy of her 21 year anniversary on the show, Kelly would close the door to her dressing room one last time.

She went on to say that the incredible fan base helped Kelly through the difficult times and gave her strength.

Now, fans wait for her to speak more truth and reveal the hidden secrets that led to her and Billy’s demise.

She previously spoke of it as well when she honored Billy on the one-year anniversary of his death.
