General Hospital fans saw Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) propose to Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) on Thursday. Sadly, she turned him down. She told him that she belonged in Port Charles while he was happier traveling the globe. It was quite a shock when, after she let him down gently, he told her he was leaving town again. Is he really hitting the road and taking Lucky away from fans again?

Lucky Spencer Is Leaving Port Charles

After Lucky Spencer was turned down by Elizabeth, he decided he was not staying in Port Charles anymore. The actor told her he can’t stand to be there if they are not together. It was confirmed by TV Insider that Jonathan Jackson is really leaving the soap again.

He returned last summer, and now, nearly a year later, he’s making another sad exit. Lucky has been a part of General Hospital on and off for many years. He is the son of Luke and Laura and has become a fan favorite over the years. No doubt, Laura (Genie Francis) will be crushed when her son leaves town.

It was confirmed that Jackson is actually leaving the soap again. Frank Valentini confirmed his exit, saying, “We were so glad Jonathan was able to reprise the role of Lucky, even if it was for a limited time. We wish him nothing but the best, and the door is always open for Jonathan to return.”

Fans will see Lucky Spencer for the last time next week.

Jackson Is Not The Only Recent Cast Shake-Up

Jonathan Jackson’s decision to leave General Hospital is quite a surprise. While he does like to travel the world, fans were hoping to see Lucky stick around more. Sadly, he’s leaving Elizabeth behind after admitting that they have gone down different paths in their lives.

He asked her to leave with him, but she refused, saying she had obligations in Port Charles.

Fans will see Lucky making his rounds to tell everyone goodbye, and see him leave next week.

Aside from Lucky leaving, there has been an exciting addition to the show. Rory Gibson came on board, replacing Chad Duell as Michael Corinthos.

So far, fans have loved Gibson in the role and think he is the best recast in show history. He’s completely nailed the character and brought him to life.

In Thursday’s episode, fans saw Rory take on another dramatic scene when he rages and tells Ric Lansing to back off of Sasha Corbin. Sasha then went into labor and, in a shocking turn of events, Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) delivered Miachel and Sasha’s baby. It’s a girl.

Right now, it remains unclear what will happen between Michael and Sasha, as well as how the custody agreement will play out. Will Willow and Michael decide to reach a compromise for the sake of Wiley and Amelia?
