‘General Hospital’: Fake Nathan’s Real Motive To Be With Lulu

General Hospital fans are becoming even more convinced that Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) is not who he says he is. The latest clue came from his attempt to play baseball. Some fans credited the bad skills with not holding a bat in seven years. Others think it’s a sign he’s fake. Plus, Nathan hasn’t been very interested in rekindling things with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms). Now, he’s becoming even closer to Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening). They seem to be bonding over their experiences of lost time, but is there a real motive behind Nathan’s interest in her? 

General Hospital: Nathan West’s Identity

General Hospital fans have been speculating over Nathan West for months now. Ryan Paevey said he wouldn’t come back to the soap for a vanilla storyline. Therefore, something is up, and there are new theories circling the internet. There is no way he’s just normal Nathan West. There have been theories that he is wearing a mask and is truly Peter August or Cesar Faison. Plus, there has even been talk that he could be a Cassadine in disguise. 

Now, some fans are looking at Nathan’s behavior and becoming even more convinced that something is off, especially when it comes to his relationship with Lulu. On social media, fans are discussing the possibility that Nathan could be a sleeper agent just waiting to be activated. Ironically, he appeared in Port Charles almost immediately after Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) made her return from the grave. Now, he’s developing strong feelings for Lulu, but is there more to the story?

Nathan has no memories of the past seven years at the moment. However, it’s possible in soap land that those memories could be unlocked at any time by whoever programmed him. Most likely, it would have to be Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) and Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) pulling the puppet strings.

The Real Reason For Nathan and Lulu’s Romance

General Hospital fans are speculating that there is definitely more to the story when it comes to Nathan and Lulu. Some believe Nathan was sent there to become close to Lulu so he can be close to Rocco. If this is the case, Nathan could be using Rocco as leverage to threaten Britt if she gets out of control. There is only so long they can dangle medication over her head. Plus, what if she discovers she’s not really sick after all? Sidwell and Cullum need a way to keep her under control. 

Nathan could also be getting close to Lulu because of Charlotte Cassadine. Also, Lulu is Laura Collins’s (Genie Francis) daughter. Laura is the mayor, and Sidwell is blackmailing her already with the Professor Dalton murder. If he needs more cooperation, Sidwell and Cullum could use Lulu and Rocco as a threat. 

There’s also the possibility that Nathan is already reporting back to Sidwell and Cullum. He might not be the good cop everyone thinks he is. 

Whether or not he’s the real Nathan West, there is sure to be more twists and turns until fans find out the truth. What is your theory about Nathan?
