‘General Hospital’ Ethan & Delilah’s Shocking Connection Is Not Phoebe

General Hospital fans are convinced that Ethan Lovett (Nathan Dean) is baby Phoebe’s father. A picture was discovered at an art gallery in Manhattan that revealed Ethan and Delilah Wilson (Lily Cardone) standing together. Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) were shown the photo by the art gallery manager, Apollo (Maxwell Caulfield). Of course, this led everyone to think Ethan’s been hiding a huge secret. But why would he not tell anyone he knew Delilah and that the baby is his? It’s entirely possible that Ethan and Delilah share a different shocking connection and have nothing to do with Phoebe.

General Hospital: Ethan Is Not Baby Daddy

General Hospital fans are divided down the middle on whether or not Ethan is Phoebe’s father. However, that seems too simple, too easy to explain. Therefore, Ethan might know who the father is, but it is not him. Instead, they had a very different connection. Since Ethan arrived in Port Charles, he’s had numerous people ask him what he’s been into or what hustle he’s doing.

It’s obvious that Delilah was running from something or someone. She had very few things on her when Brooklynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) found her. There was a list of art galleries which seems rather odd, or does it? There are theories floating around that perhaps Ethan and Delilah are art thieves. The list of galleries could be ones they were scoping out for future hits.

Some fans have pointed out that it’s in Ethan’s blood to be a con artist. Along with planning to steal art, Delilah could be running from someone, perhaps the baby daddy. It could have been a former business partner that they scammed or an ex-abusive lover. Somehow, these two are connected, but having it simply be for Phoebe is too obvious and most likely not the case at all. Some fans even pointed out that the photo shown looked photoshopped. There’s definitely a lot more to this story to come.

Reasons For Working With Sonny

If Ethan and Delilah are art thieves and on the run, it makes sense for him to work for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Having the mob boss on your side is not a bad thing is you are trying to save your own life. If he proves his loyalty to Sonny, then Sonny will do what he can to keep Ethan safe. Ethan may be hoping to use Sonny’s resources to help him out of his own sticky situation.

Regardless, it seems his biggest task was supposed to be keeping Delilah safe, which doesn’t even matter now. It looks like more of the secrets Ethan has been hiding are about to come to light.

It will be interesting to see where writers are taking this storyline. What do you think Ethan has been hiding from everyone in Port Charles?
