‘General Hospital’ Confirms Shocking Fan Favorite Return

General Hospital Confirms Return Of Popular Character

General Hospital fans have been speculating who is making a comeback this summer. An executive producer teased fans earlier this month that a “former cast member is coming back… that the audience will go crazy for.”

Now, TVLinehas confirmed who is coming back and fans will love it. In fact, the actor involved has also been hinting online about a possible comeback.

Fans can expect to see Bryan Craig hit their television screens later this summer. He plays Morgan Corinthos who is the son of Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Carly (Laura Wright).

Morgan was presumably killed in a car explosion in 2016. However, as in most cases, his body was never recovered. This left a door open for him to return should the opportunity present itself.

While Craig played the role he was a two-time Daytime Emmy-winner as Outstanding Younger Actor.

There Is Some Bad News

Fans will be excited to see Bryan Craig on their screen again. However, there is some bad news. Right now it seems he will only be in one episode which will air in early August.

Right now nobody knows if he will be making his return as a dream, a hallucination or in person. It is also unknown if this could be setting the stage for more Morgan Corinthos in the future.

This wouldn’t be the first time he has made a comeback in a dream. In 2018 he appeared to Ava in a dream.

When he left the soap in 2016 he said, “It’s been an amazing journey, but I feel like the time is right for me to say good-bye to GENERAL HOSPITAL and Morgan Corinthos. This was not an easy decision, and I am extremely grateful to ABC, [Executive Producer] Frank Valentini and the entire GH cast and crew for the opportunity and their unyielding support.”

Craig also addressed his fans saying, “To the wonderful fans who have embraced and loved Morgan as one of their own, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.”

Currently, Craig has been on the Freeform drama Good Trouble.
