‘General Hospital’ Confirmed: Lulu & Nathan Over: Dante Is Her Endgame

General Hospital has seemingly already ended things between new couple, Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) and Nathan West (Ryan Paevey). The two had a big blowup over Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) and Lulu’s unwillingness to get him out of town to keep him safe. The two broke up, which Nathan confirmed to Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) during their huge fight, also over Rocco. “Nathan’s” life seems to be imploding around him. He’s losing his girlfriend and best friend all in a matter of moments. In fact, Dante noted that he doesn’t feel like he really knows him at all. Of course, he’s 100% accurate as Nathan is really Cassius Faison. As for Lulu, she and Nathan may be over, but is there still hope for her and her ex-husband?

General Hospital: Lulu And Dante Bonding Moments To Come?

General Hospital fans know that at some point, it will get out that Nathan West is really dead and it’s Cassius Faison who has taken over his life. In fact, once the news comes out, it could even become a bonding moment for Dante and Lulu. In a recent interview with Soap Opera Digest, Alexa Havins Bruening revealed that in her mind, Lulu and Dante have always been endgame. In the article, it seemingly confirmed that she and Nathan are done with their brief romance.

This leaves Lulu once again single and alone, at least for now. Currently, Dante is not really even speaking to the mother of his child. However, things are bound to eventually draw these two back together again.

Alexa says she and Dominic Zamprogna have always had chemistry on set, and she believes he feels the same. She even admits to throwing little breadcrumbs into scenes, such as a lingering look or innocent brush of the arm. She wants to make sure fans know Lulu still has feelings for Dante.

Dante Is Her Endgame

Of course, these two can’t be together right away. There has to be soap opera drama and heartache before a happy ending can occur. Bruening says she’s holding out hope that “Lante” gets their fairytale ending. She said,

“Even though Dante and Lulu had scenes where basically, he’s done with me, I’m dead to him, I still feel like there’s still a lot to go, a lot of places to explore. But in true soap fashion, we can’t just be together and be happy. It’s got to be the long road, right? We’ve got to have some drama in between!”

She goes on to say that Dante and Lulu rekindling their romance could be “a beautiful story exploring how after all these detours and heartaches, these two find their way back to each other. What a sweet story it would be, especially for their child, Rocco, to reunite that family. I don’t know if that’s where they’re going, but I always keep that in the back of my mind — that Dante and Lulu are endgame.”
