‘General Hospital’ Betrayal Exposed, Nina and Brennan Hookup

General Hospital is kicking off May sweeps with a bang. On Friday’s shocking cliffhanger, Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) picked the lock at Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) house and discovered not only two wine glasses but a naked Carly in her bed. Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) was nowhere to be found. It’s still being determined if this was a coincidence or if it’s a setup. However, spoilers and an interview with McKenna and Wright reveal that the truth is about to be exposed. Carly will reportedly confess to Brennan that her secret lover is his worst enemy. Fans are about to see a new side to Brennan, and his rage and heartbreak might just send him straight into Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) arms.

General Hospital: May Sweeps Brings Intense Drama

General Hospital fans have to wait until Monday to see what Jack Brennan will do next after catching Carly just after she did the deed with Valentin. Spoilers say that Jack will anger Carly when he tosses her robe at her, ordering her to get dressed. Everyone knows that Carly won’t take kindly to being bossed around like a child. So, when a drunken Jack demands to know who Carly is cheating on him with, she will give him answers.

Carly is about to reveal the one thing that will crush Brennan more than anything. She’s sleeping with Valentin. Spoilers also say the scenes between Carly and Jack will be intense. It sounds like Valentin may also appear in the chaos. The actors shared that the scenes were intense, and after it was done, the three of them had a group hug. Regardless, Valentin isn’t about to be taken into custody, so he will avoid being detained.

He’s been secretly working with Nina to bring down Brennan. However, the show has hinted at an obvious attraction between the WSB Chief and Nina. So, once Jack lets his emotions take over, he may be seeking revenge on Carly, an eye for an eye if you will. This might send him straight into Nina’s arms.

Betrayal Both Ways

If Jack goes to Nina and reveals that Carly is sleeping with Valentin, it’s no doubt going to sting her as well. After all, she and Valentin were in love at one time. Plus, she and Carly cannot stand one another.

While both rage about the betrayal, they may find themselves facing intense, passionate urges toward each other. Will this land them in bed together? Could it be the start of a Nina and Brennan love affair? Or, will Nina use this opportunity to continue helping Valentine bring Brennan down? Chances are, she will feel betrayed and not as willing to help as she was before. Plus, sleeping with him could get that traffic cam footage destroyed that she’s been desperately wanting.

Right now, it’s not known which direction writers will choose to go, but one thing is certain. May sweeps will be bringing some twists and turns that nobody saw coming. What do you think about this all blowing up? Will he hook up with Nina?
