‘General Hospital’ Ava Betrays Sidwell, Heartbreak & Rage Coming

General Hospital fans know that Ava Jerome (Maura West) can be bad news. She basically does what she wants when she wants to. Her latest quest has been with Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota). The two spend a lot of time together, but what happens if she betrays him? Everyone knows he’s dangerous and also willing to do anything to get what he wants. Ava’s ways could catch up to her and cause a lot of heartbreak and rage for many people. 

General Hospital Setting Ava Up To Betray Sidwell?

If Ava Jerome chooses to betray Sidwell, then she is setting the stage for many people in Port Charles to suffer heartbreak and rage. General Hospital fans already saw what appeared to be a chemistry test between Ava and Ethan Lovett (Nathan Dean). Needless to say, sparks were there. Will writers do something about it? It remains to be seen, but Ava has not backed away from a younger man in the past; why would she now? 

She might be bothered by the fact that Sidwell is also seeing Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring). Ava might feel like she can see two people, then so can she. However, if Sidwell finds out and, more importantly, who the new man is, he will no doubt feel a deep sense of betrayal. Sidwell once held Ethan’s half-brother and mother hostage. Plus, Ethan works for his biggest enemy, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). 

If he discovers there is something intimate happening between Ethan and Ava, then rage could take over. Everyone could be in danger, including Lucas Jones (Van Hansis). Sidwell might think Ava has been using him.

Sidwell Isn’t The Only Betrayal

Pursuing a passionate relationship with Ethan could prove to be a terrible mistake for Ava. But it could also be bad for Ethan as well. He is becoming somewhat close to Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) again and even appears like he might be thinking of her raising baby Phoebe. Of course, the mystery behind whether or not he’s the baby’s father is still being sorted out. But he seems to be thinking really hard about who the baby would be happiest with. 

If he eventually gives in to passion with Ava, Kristina could feel betrayed as well. After all, she blames Ava for the death of her baby girl. Sonny most likely wouldn’t approve as well. Even Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) could feel somewhat angry over them hooking up. This potential pairing could lead to big heartbreak and rage all over Port Charles. 

It remains to be seen if writers are considering throwing these two together anytime soon. However, they seem to have passed the chemistry test with flying colors. Do you think writers are gearing toward an Ethan/Ava passionate encounter?
