Colton Underwood is married with a child after coming out as gay in 2021. While he leads a different life now, Bachelor Nation fans have long memories. He was accused of stalking his ex-girlfriend after they broke up in 2020.

Viewers first met the former football player when he was a contestant on Becca Kufrin’s season of The Bachelorette. He was sent home after his hometown date. He went on to join Season 5 of Bachelor In Paradise. After another failed relationship, he was named the Bachelor lead for Season 23.

He fell fast and hard for Cassie Randolph. Things were going good between them, but left toward the end after getting cold feet. Colton Underwood was so distraught that he famously jumped a fence to get away from the cameras. He ultimately sent the other women home and begged Cassie Randolph for a second chance.

The two dated for about a year before breaking up. A few months later, she filed for a restraining order, claiming that Colton Underwood was stalking her. He allegedly put a tracking device on her car and harassed her family. The restraining order was dropped after the two reached a private settlement. But as we said, fans have long memories.

Colton Underwood was a contestant on Season 4 of Peacock’s The Traitors. In a new interview, Colton Underwood admits that he banned the reality show from bringing up his past stalking allegations. Keep reading for more details.

Colton Underwood Banned Traitors From Bringing Up Past Stalking Allegations

During his time on The Traitors, Colton Underwood tangled with several castmates. Michael Rapaport was banished (eliminated) early in the season after saying the Bachelor star would be a good traitor because he’s a good liar. Viewers took the diss as a reference to Colton Underwood hiding his sexuality on the ABC dating show, though Michael Rapaport denied meaning that.

Colton Underwood also had a fiery relationship with Lisa Rinna on the Peacock competition. After she was banished, she posted on social media calling him a “stalker,” though she claimed she didn’t know about the prior allegations at the time.

After massive fan backlash, Colton Underwood did an interview with Vanity Fair to clear up his past. During the interview, he revealed his one condition for joining Traitors: don’t bring up the stalking allegations. “My only ask is, like, if I do this, I don’t want people to bring up anything outside of the game. I have a family now, right? I’m … so far past what happened six years ago,” he told the outlet.

Where He Stands With Cassie Randolph Now

Cassie Randolph has never really said much about the stalking allegations since she dropped the restraining order. She married musician Brighton Reinhardt in December 2025. Colton Underwood revealed where he stands with his ex now.

“I have no contact. If she ever did reach out or want to reach out, I would be open to answering any questions that her or her family would have for me,” he told Variety. He added that it would be on “her terms.”

Colton Underwood did own up to his past on the Traitors reunion special that aired this week. Tell us in the comments if you think Bachelor Nation fans should forget and forgive his past.
