CBS Writers Pushing Liam Out, ‘General Hospital’ Dillon Makes Shocking Return?

Fans have been trying to figure out if CBS writers for Bold and the Beautiful are really pushing Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) out. Everyone has been thinking that Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) will come up with another miraculous cure to help dying Liam. However, as symptoms continue to increase and he begins to get weaker, is this really the end of the road for Liam? If Liam dies, General Hospital fans are hoping to see Dillon Quartermaine make a shocking return. Needless to say, there is big drama brewing and May Sweeps is the perfect time for it all to come together.

Liam Out As General Hospital Welcomes Dillon Back?

Right now, it’s anyone’s guess what will happen to Liam Spencer. Nobody thought it was possible writers would really kill him off. However, he continues to decline, and spoilers have hinted that he’s about to experience more symptoms. This could perhaps be in the form of seizures.

Scott Clifton has spoken on Liam’s brain tumor and said he doesn’t know what is going to happen. However, he is taking great pride in that they are telling this story with the utmost respect and sensitivity.

According to Clifton, he is not even thinking about General Hospital or any other show at the moment. He’s simply focused on doing the best job he can at telling this delicate story. However, this wouldn’t be the first time a soap star has lied about their coming and going from a show.

Let’s assume that Bold and the Beautiful is saying goodbye to Liam. This is the perfect time for Dillon Quartermaine to make a shocking comeback. If this happens, Scott Clifton could be a key player in both soaps for May sweeps.

This Would Create Interesting Storylines On Both Soaps

As for Bold and the Beautiful, Liam’s death would cause turmoil for many. Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) would be facing major guilt over the last interaction he had with his son. Hope and Steffy would both have regrets where Liam is concerned. In fact, the feud between Hope and Steffy may grow even stronger if Hope realizes Steffy knew he was dying and didn’t say anything.

Who knows, perhaps this will lead to the return of Matthew Atkinson as Thomas Forrester. This could complicate things with Hope and Steffy even more. He may return to show support to his sister and to Hope after losing Liam.

Plus, this also opens the door for Darin Brooks to return as Wyatt Spencer.

As far as General Hospital, just as things seem to be getting on track between Lulu (Alexa Havins) and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna), in comes Dillon to throw a wrench in it. Could he return and woo Lulu, making her doubt her feelings for Dante?

With the chaos continuing with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), it would be smart for Tracy Quartermaine to call Dillon to return and help his mother through it.

There has been talk that perhaps Dillon could even return a little darker and a lot more ruthless than when he left. He may finally be ready to step up and act like a Quartermaine heir.

For now, though, this is all speculation and nothing has been confirmed. However, it would create some great storylines. The possibilities are endless. What do you think will happen?
