‘Bringing Up Bates’ Travis Clark Shaded By Family After Cheating Scandal

Bringing Up Bates star Travis Clark has been trying to redeem himself not just to his wife, but also to his family since confessing to a cheating scandal earlier this year. Travis and Katie Bates have already reconciled and are now living happily in Texas. However, it seems one of Travis’ relatives is still upset about what he did, seemingly shaming him in a sermon. Katie recently took to IG to share a clip of her embracing the culture in Texas. According to the Bringing Up Bates star, she finally got her own cowboy boots, and she couldn’t be happier about it. Katie later shared a moment of her picking the boots’ design alongside her family. Katie also let her kids pick their own pairs, while Travis got his first cowboy hat. Many fans commended the two for their new lives in Texas, but it seems some of Travis’ family are still going after him following his cheating scandal.

Travis Shaded By Family After Cheating Scandal

Some Bringing Up Bates fans on social media react to a clip from one of the latest sermons of Travis’ uncle, Charles. He was talking about infidelity in his sermon. According to Charles, he’s glad that people are no longer living in the Old Testament, as adultery would result in death.

Later in his sermon, he talked about how men should take accountability for their mistakes. He said, “You know, I’m blaming this, blaming that. You know what blame is? Please hear me. Blame means you won’t admit your guilt.” Charles then said in another part of his sermon, “You have an excuse for it. Oh, it was this, it was then, that circumstance, this situation. That’s how come it happened. No, no, no, no, no. Look, the reason happened because of me,” and some fans think it’s a direct shade at Travis.

• “I wonder if good ole uncle Charlie is a reason the Clark’s didn’t return to New Jersey and opted for Texas…”
• “I’m quite sure that Travis and Katie know how he feels and do not watch his sermons. 😄”
• “So basically he is saying Travass should be punish with death? It’s too much. What a sick and dictatorial families they have. Why is he even talking/preaching? He is not inspirational at all. He is bitter and furious. Bad combo.”
