‘Bringing Up Bates’ Mama Jane Big Smiles in Wheelchair Amid Stroke Recovery

Bringing Up Bates star Mama Jane has kept many fans wondering about her health. She fought cancer in her nose last year, resulting in multiple radiation treatments. The process left a huge toll on her physical strength. Aside from that, Mama Jane suffered from a stroke earlier this year. She was found lying in the middle of her farm. Members of the Bates family stated that she wouldn’t have made it if she hadn’t been found sooner. Erin recently paid her grandmother a visit in South Carolina, in which she can be seen in a wheelchair. Keep reading to see the photo.

‘Bringing Up Bates‘: Michaela Bates Pays Mama Jane A Visit

Michaela took to social media last May to share photos from her visit at her grandmother’s farm. According to the Bringing Up Bates star, she likes watching her grandmother talk to her foster kids. Michaela also uploaded a Q&A video with Brandon, in which she stated that Mama Jane has been a warrior throughout her recovery from stroke. But it seems she still hasn’t fully recovered, as Erin shared new photos of her still in a wheelchair.

Mama Jane Big Smiles While In A Wheelchair Amid Stroke Recovery

In an Instagram post, Erin shared photos of her family’s visit to Mama Jane’s home. The Bringing Up Bates star wrote, “Visiting Grandma’s Farm (Part 1) 🚜🐄.” Some of the pictures show Mama Jane’s sweet interaction with some of her great-grandchildren. But what’s noticeable is the photo of Chad pushing Mama Jane in a wheelchair. Mama Jane’s mobility was badly affected by her stroke. Before she was diagnosed with it, she could still walk using a walker. But despite her condition, Mama Jane showed a big smile to the camera.
