Bringing Up Bates star Warden Bates just had his second wedding with Kaybrie. The two initially tied the knot on May 5, 2026. The main reason was Kaybrie’s father, whose health was deteriorating at the time. He passed away shortly after the wedding, making it a bittersweet moment for the newlyweds. Kaybrie and Warden still proceeded with their original wedding date, planning a much bigger ceremony. But many were caught off guard when Kaybrie revealed their attendants. Kaybrie recently took to IG to share beautiful photos with Warden from their second wedding. Kaybrie talked about how their first wedding was dedicated to her late father. She wrote, “I wanted him to walk me down the aisle and couldn’t imagine him not there.” Kaybrie added that it was a sudden decision, but they will never regret every second of it. She then gushed over how her dream was fulfilled yet again. She captioned, “From the gorgeous outdoor setting at Howe Farms to my magical custom-designed wedding dress detailed with intricate lace, pearls, and beading by @reneesbridal_ , every detail was perfect.”

Fans Shocked Over Warden & Kaybrie’s Second Wedding Attendants

Some Bringing Up Bates fans on social media react to Kaybrie’s recent comment on her post, giving a huge shoutout to the people who played roles in her wedding. Many were surprised by how they’re mostly girls, including Ellie being assigned as Warden’s Groom’s Woman. Several people also mentioned that there were almost no adult in-laws or brothers who had a role.

• “It’s wild that the brothers closest to him in age, Jackson and Isaiah, were not involved but so many of his sisters were.”
• “WILD to pick a nephew in elementary school over your brothers!”
• “Right? I’m all for bucking traditions, but the Grooms’ attendants list is wild. No Zach, Lawson, Nathan, Jackson or Isaiah but he’s got two sisters and a bunch of kids? What is going on?”

It’s also unclear if Alyssa and Katie both attended Kaybrie and Warden’s second wedding. The two have shown distance from the family, especially Katie, who revealed earlier this year that she lost “90%” of her relationships with her family. Both Alyssa and Katie have unfollowed members of the Bates family as well. They have also deleted numerous photos with their siblings and parents.
