‘Bringing Up Bates’ Bates Kids To Attend ‘Hybrid School’
Bringing Up Bates stars Gil and Kelly Jo Bates have raised their kids under a strict homeschooling curriculum. Many people have questioned their homeschooling ways, telling them to enroll their kids in real schools instead. Some fans believe it’s one of the main reasons why multiple family members didn’t get to have professional jobs. Many Bates mothers today have become full-time social media influencers and YouTube vloggers. However, it seems a married couple wants to make a change. Keep reading to see who they are.
‘Bringing Up Bates‘: Carlin, Josie, & Katie Bates Have All Been Successful
Just like their other siblings, Carlin, Josie, and Katie also graduated from homeschooling. Today, the trio are some of Gil and Kelly Jo’s most successful children online. Carlin recently relocated to a new home, just months after renovating her previous Tennessee house. Many people have also been impressed by her frequent expensive trips with Evan and their kids, showing off their lavish lifestyle. Carlin doesn’t have a professional job. Instead, she generates a huge income through her online endorsements.

The same goes for Katie and Josie. They’ve all been making money through advertisements. Josie generally promotes skin and hair products, while Katie frequently shares travel and household items. But even though they became successful, some Bringing Up Bates fans believe having a proper diploma is still a feat they want to see, and it seems Josie and Kelton want to make it happen.
Bates Kids to Attend Hybrid School
Some Bringing Up Bates fans on social media react to Josie and Kelton’s recent announcement, saying that they’re sending their kids to a “hybrid school.” Josie announced her plans for the kids in their Disney Cruise clip. According to the proud mother, Willow and Hazel are about to have a big change in their lives, and they want to prepare them as much as possible. Josie didn’t exactly emphasize the “hybrid school,” but some fans believe it’s going to be a form of private school.

- “hopefully it’s actual school a few days a week and not just a fancy way of saying co op homeschool. if it’s a real school I think it’s great for the girls. they will have a much better education than josie ever did. if it’s an actual school, I will say I did always feel of all the bates josie was one of the more likely to put her kids in actual school because kelton went to one.”
- “Hybrid is private school with 2 work from home days. It’s not CO-OP.”
- “Tennessee has a bunch of hybrid schools to service all the homeschoolers in the state. I think that’s a great balance, you get the best of both worlds.”
- “So is it like homeschooled kids meet up or going to actual school for few days a week?”
- “Probably going to RECA here in Knoxville.”
