‘Bringing Up Bates’ Erin Bates Updates Fans One Month After Health Crisis

Bringing Up Bates star Erin Bates Paine has endured a lot over the past month. She gave birth to her seventh child, Henry, on August 25. Sadly, she faced a lot of hurdles before being discharged to go home to her family. She found herself in ICU suffering from septic shock. A big seizure set her back and forced doctors to send her to another facility for more testing and care. Finally, she went home, although she is still facing uncertainty as her health crisis continues. On Friday, she shared an update just one month after giving birth. What did she have to say?

Bringing Up Bates Erin Shares Health Update

Bringing Up Bates star Erin Bates continues to face health concerns a month after giving birth to sweet baby Henry. Not every complication she faced was revealed to fans, but several were, including her most recent issue. When Erin was finally released from the hospital and Henry was discharged from NICU they all went home together as a family. However, things were not back to normal as everyone had hoped.

Erin was continuing to heal from other complications, including a severe infection that led to septic shock. The other puzzling complication revealed by Chad Paine is that she has no function in her right leg. A few days ago, Chad updated fans again and shared that Erin still had no use of her leg and the doctors couldn’t figure out why.

She shared on Friday that she still faces uncertainty but is learning to adjust to her new normal, at least for now. Erin said, “My leg still isn’t functioning, but I am learning how to navigate using a walker and wheelchair much better now. I’ve been doing physical therapy consistently and they are hopeful that time will heal! ❤️”

She Remains Grateful

Erin Bates remains grateful even as she continues to fight her own struggles. Her husband even mentioned in his YouTube video that never once did she show negativity or hatefulness toward staff members at the hospital. In fact, the staff praised her for remaining so kind and positive through it all.

She and Chad are grateful to be home with all seven of their children. They don’t know how the story will end but they are holding onto their faith.

In Erin’s new post, she said, “One month of loving you and thanking God for His goodness EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. 🤍
Also celebrating that I made it out of pajamas… but only for two minutes before the pj life called me back. 🤭 It’s the little things, friends! ❤️”

Along with her update, she shared adorable photos with herself, Chad, and Henry.
