‘General Hospital’ Sidwell Frames Sonny, Natalia, Really Alive?

General Hospital fans have theories circulating that perhaps Natalia Ramirez (Eva LaRue) is not really dead. Or, if she is dead, she didn’t just die from an accidental overdose. Natalia had evidence that could put Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) in prison. However, he wasn’t going to let her disclose that information on record with the ADA. She was supposed to be on a jet plane to Belize, but as fate would have it, mixing booze and drugs is never a good thing. The question now is, did she really overdose and meet her maker? Or, did her ex-husband, Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota), have something to do with it?

General Hospital Fans Speculate On Natalia’s Fate

Jenz Sidwell seems to be willing to go to great lengths to take down Sonny Corinthos and end his influence in Port Charles. The question is, how far will he really go? He has already framed Selena Wu (Lydia Look) for the fire at Charlie’s Pub.

Perhaps he is also working toward framing Sonny as well. Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) already believes that Sonny is responsible for his mother’s untimely death. Sadly, Sidwell doesn’t care about Natalia and whether or not she is breathing. So, it seems possible he could have swapped her pills with stronger ones to take her out once and for all.

No big loss for him, really, and since Sonny’s bodyguard was outside her hotel room, that makes him and his men the prime suspects. Planting evidence to incriminate Sonny sounds like something Sidwell would do, especially given the details he told Wu about police finding other evidence pointing toward her for the arson attack at Charlie’s.

Sidwell could have very well had Natalia killed so he could pin her death on Sonny. However, there is another option. What if she’s not really dead at all?

Fans Have Another Theory About Natalia

It does look like Natalia Ramirez is really dead and gone. But, what if she is alive? This wouldn’t be the first time a death has been faked.

Some fans are speculating on social media that Natalia is not really dead. She was pretty mad when she left the church at Daisy’s christening. She even told Sonny that she hopes he gets the blessings he deserves. Eerie right?

Natalia could have decided that she would testify against Sonny as revenge for him not going with her to Belize. She already feels like she has lost everything, including Marco. So, maybe her death was staged, and she agreed to be placed in the witness protection program. This is what some fans believe could be taking place.

If she didn’t want to run to the police, she could have even run to Sidwell. It’s entirely possible he helped stage her death to frame Sonny and put him away. He could have promised her a life in paradise and assured her that Marco would forgive her and want to be a part of it all.

Regardless of which route writers choose to go, one thing is certain: nobody believes she died of an accidental overdose.
