‘General Hospital’ More Shocking Twists To Gio’s Paternity Bombshell

The General Hospital Nurses Ball exploded Thursday when Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) overheard Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) yelling at Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) that he is Brook Lynn and Dante’s son. Gio didn’t take the news very well, but why should he? Now, in the aftermath of it all, Brook Lynn will begin to try and have a relationship with her long-lost son. However, it won’t be easy, and he might be quite so forgiving, at least not quickly. As she and Dante both work to establish a relationship with Gio, more bombshell secrets are about to come to light.

General Hospital Secrets Emerge That Change Everything

Gio shocked all of Port Charles when he stopped his magnificent violin performance to dedicate it to his parents, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna). Everyone in attendance was shocked and speechless as Gio went on to smash his beautiful violin.

He ran out after saying that his parents gave him away and didn’t want him. Lulu may have finally got the big secret out but in doing so the way she did, things will be pretty for her in the near future. First of all, Brook Lynn will no doubt scream at Lulu that this is all her fault. If we’re lucky maybe she will slap her before storming out to look for Gio and her mother.

The secret that Lois kept all these years is finally out, and it will cost her. Brook Lynn will never forgive her for keeping her from her son all these years. The entire family will no doubt turn on her at least for now.

When the big reveal was made, Dante looked incredibly stunned and confused. Are the wheels turning in this head? How could this even be possible? Being the family man that he is, he will try his best to talk to Gio and form a relationship.

However, secrets might emerge that will rip the rug out from under them all. It’s said that Dante and Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) have a big secret from camp. What if that secret involves Brook Lynn? Perhaps the secret is that one dark night, it was really Cody with Brook Lynn and never Dante to begin with. Or, maybe she slept with both of them. Teenagers do crazy things, so that makes this entirely possible, especially if there was any alcohol involved. Did Cody have a crush on her all those years ago, and Dante kept it from her as he wanted him to?

DNA Tests Will Be Completed

As Brook Lynn and Dante try to fix Gio’s broken heart, no doubt they will want paternity tests to prove Gio is theirs. The shocker will come when Dante’s DNA does not match Gio’s. Brook Lynn will be confused and say that’s not possible.

This is when Cody’s big secret will have to be revealed. He, too, will get the DNA test with a positive match.

If writers really want drama, they could have Gio run off and end up hurt and at the hospital. He might need blood or something else, which could also lead to the discovery that Dante is not his biological father.

Either way, secrets will come out, and lives and friendships will be destroyed forever. Will Chase forgive Brook Lynn for her seemingly promiscuous ways? Will Dante forgive any of them for keeping him in the dark? And, will Cody come clean about the time he spent with Brook Lynn when they were younger?

Fans have already been saying that Gio looks more like Cody than Dante. Will they be right?
